This testing machine is used for test silicon rubber, which is main material of high voltage OH line composite insulators (also called polymeric insulators).
This test is required in IEC standard as a sample test for silicon rubber specimen, intending to test the performance of polymeric housing of insulator under acid erosive environment like highly polluted area.
